The most anticipated poster of the French championship, the OM-PSG classic, scheduled for this Sunday March 31 at 8:45 p.m., should break the attendance record. More than 65,894 spectators are expected at the Vélodrome, a figure already reached on February 26, 2023, during the Parisians’ 3-0 victory.

The places were sold out only 3 hours after the ticket office opened. The meeting will be played without the presence of supporters of the capital club, who are prohibited from traveling. To fill the space reserved for visitors, the Provençal club has marketed visitor places.

This expected record falls a few days after another football poster which was not full. France barely beat Chile last Tuesday in a friendly match in front of partially filled stands. The world vice-champions played in front of 50,000 spectators (out of 67,000 seats) and in a rather gloomy atmosphere despite the very notable support of the Chilean supporters.
