The Olympic Flame will gain a little height in the Pyrénées-Orientales this Wednesday with an expected arrival at the Pic du Canigo, the highest eastern peak of the Pyrenees chain (2,784 meters). Then, she will go to Prades and its ancient fortified city, will highlight alongside the Occitanie Region Font-Romeu, National Altitude Training Center. The rest will take place in the Catalan Pyrenees Natural Park before going to Céret.

The Flame will travel to Villeneuve-de-la-Raho and the edge of its lake, a water reservoir that has become a passage for migratory birds and a popular place for outdoor activities. Then, it will go to the shores of the Mediterranean by taking a route between Port-Vendres and Collioure. It will then be time to return to Perpignan where the day will end.
