Orla Melissa Sloan, a 21-year-old influencer, admitted Wednesday in a London court to having harassed several footballers, including Chelsea star Mason Mount who had broken up with her.
During a hearing in Westminster Magistrates Court, the prosecutor described how the young woman, mostly present on TikTok, and Mason Mount, 24, had sex after meeting at a party in November 2020.
The pair stayed in touch for around six months before the footballer ‘decided the relationship wasn’t going to continue’. “After informing Miss Sloan, he was the victim of a bombardment of messages,” said the prosecutor.
“He started by asking her to stop before blocking her number”, but the accused used 21 different numbers to continue contacting him, he added.
She “knows pretty much where I live and where I train. I’m afraid that if she doesn’t manage to contact me, she could come to my training center,” Mason Mount said in a statement read during the hearing.
Messages from Orla Melissa Sloan to other footballers were also read, in particular some where she told ex-Chelsea player Billy Gilmour, now at Brighton, that she was pregnant, while assuring him no not have had relations with her.
Orla Melissa Sloan has pleaded guilty and faces jail time. Judgment is expected on June 20.
