On the airwaves of France Bleu Paris radio this Tuesday, Olivier Klein, interministerial delegate for the fight against racism, anti-Semitism and anti-LGBT hatred (DILCRAH), returned to the recent controversy at the Parc des Princes. The interministerial delegate judged these chants (“The Marseillais are pe…, sons of b…, bastards…”) “unbearable”, recalling that “these types of behavior have no place in the sport”. Klein thinks that we “can look at where these chants came from, from what platform, and at least find those who started these chants.” PSG, which reacted the day after the match without pointing out the chants in question, could for example be sanctioned with a grandstand closure for a match.
