This time it’s the right one. Paris Saint-Germain informs of the holding of a press conference this Wednesday, July 5 at 2 p.m., at its new training center located in Poissy (Yvelines). The content has not been specified, but there is no doubt: Luis Enrique will be officially appointed coach, he who has been waiting for several days for the departure of Christophe Galtier to be settled.
As revealed by L’Équipe and RMC Sport, a “financial agreement” was reached between PSG and Galtier, 56, who had one year left on his contract. The French coach will therefore give way to his Spanish counterpart, free since his departure from the Roja bench at the end of the last World Cup, six months ago. He will commit until 2025 with PSG, specifies the newspaper Le Parisien.

The president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, should be present on Wednesday in Poissy to present Luis Enrique, 53 years old. Former coach of FC Barcelona, Celta Vigo and AS Roma, Enrique already has a clear idea of the composition of his technical staff. The formalization of Enrique’s arrival could unlock the Parisian transfer window: several players, including Lucas Hernandez, Milan Skriniar or Manuel Ugarte, would also be waiting to be officially presented as Parisians.
