Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG midfielder, after the 2-1 victory against Real): “It feels good to be qualified. We came to win, we did it, we gave everything, we played very well throughout the match, we did what the coach asked and it worked well. We prepared well for the match and that allowed us to change (compared to the first leg). Now, we will continue to work to win the next matches, in the championship and in C1. What awaits us is the best part of the season. We will give everything to win everything, that’s the objective. Mbappe? He’s a very dedicated player every day, in training, in matches, he’s a world-class player, extraordinary, he scores two today and we’re very happy. (…) When he is like that, he does us good and we just have to thank him.
It was the coach’s (Luis Enrique) idea to put Ousmane (Dembélé) in the middle and I think it worked very well. It allowed us to be free on the sides, with him inside. It helped us open them. Contract extension? It’s something I don’t worry about too much. I’m going to celebrate my 18th birthday (Friday), I’m very happy. But I will continue to stay focused on the pitch and give my best for Paris Saint-Germain. (On Canal and RMC)
