The Appeals Committee dismissed the player’s appeal regarding the entry point of the offence. After reviewing the evidence before it, the Appeal Board found that the Legal Board which had heard the case at first instance was entitled to consider that the tackle warranted an average entry point and therefore upheld the decision.
