The president of RC Toulon Bernard Lemaître has resigned from his position on the steering committee of the National Rugby League, AFP learned from the LNR on Friday, confirming information from the newspaper L’Équipe. Asked about the reason for this departure, the LNR clarified that it did not know the reason.

Bernard Lemaître, 85, became president of the RCT in February 2020. He replaced Mourad Boudjellal, who had led the Var club since 2006. The businessman was elected to the LNR steering committee in March 2021.
