During the match won on Saturday evening by England against Argentina (27-10), the third row of the XV de la Rose, Tom Curry, was excluded (after resorting to the “bunker”) for a head-to-head collision with Juan Cruz Mallia landing a high ball, from the 3rd minute of the match. After this red card, the bandaged flanker was suspended for three matches by World Rugby, but his suspension could be reduced by one week if he follows the International Federation’s program on dangerous play. Tom Curry is therefore expected to miss England’s matches against Japan (September 17) and Chile (September 23).
