Simon Raiwalui, (Fiji coach, after the defeat against Wales): “We had opportunities to come back, but we were unable to capitalize on them. The Welsh were able to resist, thanks to a strong defense. That’s what made the difference. We missed the win at the last second but the boys had a great game so I congratulate them. We lost, but it’s important to have taken bonus points. It keeps us alive and we will focus on the next game against Australia, which we have to win.
Waisea Nayacalevu (Fiji captain): “We made a lot of mistakes, we paid for them, but we fought until the end. I salute my partners for the efforts they have made, in the last few minutes in particular. We have to work even harder, to make it happen. We scored two tries at the end and almost scored at the last second. We have to be patient and the time will come. We will redouble our efforts to face the Australians.”
