Present at the Stade de France on Saturday evening, the President of the South African Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa, did not hide his joy and his immense pride. Insisting he was the first sitting president to see the Springboks triumph twice.
“Sport has the power to transform individuals and boost the morale of entire nations,” declared the Head of State. Tonight (Saturday evening), Siya Kolisi and the world champions gave us an extraordinary, inspired and inspiring feat, which lifts our hearts and raises our flag even higher.
