Sailing: Erwan Draoulec and Gilles Fournier crowned in the Rolex Fastnet Race

After the success in scratch time of François Gabart and his crew on the trimaran Ultim SVR – Lazartigue and that of the duo Charlie Dalin – Pascal Bidégorry on the monohull Macif for his very first race, the victorious arrivals followed one another in the different categories of the 50th Rolex Fastnet Race, contested between Cowes and Cherbourg via the famous Fastnet rock in tough weather conditions. Thus aboard Everial, the young Erwan Draoulec and his crew won in Class40, Le Havre Gilles Fournier triumphant at the helm of Pintia in the IRC1 category with on board in particular his daughter Corinne Migraine, vice-president of the French federation of sail.
