Third row Luke Crosbie and second row Richie Gray, injured, had to withdraw from the rest of the Six Nations Tournament, starting with the next match against the French XV, the Scottish Rugby Federation announced on Tuesday. Crosbie (26 years old, 8 caps) injured his shoulder during the victory against Wales (27-26), on behalf of the first day of the 2024 Tournament last Saturday.
Former Toulouse and Castres player Richie Gray (34 years old, 79 selections) was hit in the biceps. Pillar Willem Petrus Nel (37 years old, 61 selections) and winger Darcy Graham (26 years old, 39 selections) have returned to training with their Glasgow club but should be too close to apply.
A week after their rout against Ireland (38-17), the Blues will try to find some color in Edinburgh on Saturday (3:15 p.m.). Facing Scotland, they lost 25-21 in a preparation match for the 2023 World Cup last August.
