Gaël Monfils will be there in Vancouver, from September 22 to 24. The Laver Cup, an annual competition that sees the “Team Europe” face off against the “Team World”, has unveiled the members who make up the two selections.
Team Europe, captained by Björn Borg, is made up of: Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud, Holger Run, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz and… Gaël Monfils. The French will know his first selection in this competition, created in 2017. It is a reward for Monfils, who performs with regularity this year. The World Team is made up of Taylor Fritz, Félix Auger-Aliassime, Frances Tiafoe, Francisco Cerundolo, Ben Shelton, Tommy Paul.
