Russian Daria Kasatkina took 11th place at the expense of American Madison Keys. The Czech Barbora Krejcikova, former N.2 in February 2022, progressed five places to settle in 13th place in the world. This is also the case for Qinwen Zheng, who beat her in the final on Sunday in Zhengzhou.
The 21-year-old Chinese returned to the best ranking of her career, in 19th place, already reached last May. Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, 14th, Czech Petra Kvitova, 15th, Swiss Belinda Bencic, 16th, Russian Liudmila Samsonova, 17th and Russian Veronika Kudermetova, 18th, all fell one place.
