The Queen’s Club, according to the BBC, is considering organizing a women’s tournament before the Wimbledon tournament, for the first time since 1973.
According to the British site, if the plans are approved, a WTA tournament will be organized the week after the French Open in June, on grass courts which will be used by the men the following week.
The WTA will have to approve the new tournament, which could begin in 2025.
