Daniil Medvedev has not had any great love stories with spectators lately. The Russian, who already experienced eventful matches with the public at the Rolex Paris Masters two weeks ago, did it again this Saturday. Defeated in the semi-final of the Masters against the young 22-year-old Italian Jannik Sinner (6-3, 6-7 (4/7), 6-1), Medvedev once again got heated with the Italian spectators, who came in number to support the N.1 of transalpine tennis Jannik Sinner.

First whistled by the Turin public, the winner of the US Open 2021 responded by placing his finger on his mouth in order to tell Sinner’s supporters to be quiet, before targeting a particular spectator. Out of irritation, Medvedev suggested, with a wave of his hand, that they come and join him on the court, probably so as not to hug each other… A match under high tension visibly. The Italians will continue to thrill on Sunday during the Masters final which will pit their foal against Novak Djokovic or Carlos Alcaraz.
