The MWC meets its forecasts and closes with 60,000 visitors

The GSMA, the organizer of the mobile congress, is satisfied with the balance of the edition.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 in Barcelona, ​​which has been taking place until this Thursday at the Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, has confirmed its best forecasts, exceeding 60,000 in-person visitors.

In a statement this Thursday, the GSMA, organizing entity of the congress, has celebrated these figures and has described the event as “vibrant”, which in this edition recovered its usual dates and more attendance, reports Europa Press.

The GSMA adviser, John Hoffman, has assured that nothing beats holding the MWC in person: “It is exciting to bring our community together again to discuss the opportunities that lie ahead,” said the executive.
