Pierre Mignoni (director of rugby at Toulon, victorious over Lyon 30 to 24): “Victory is the main thing. We’re back in the top four and it’s a very good operation. Lyon is a very good team which is certainly not in its place. I knew it would be a very difficult match. We haven’t always done things well. We lacked patience, but there will be no more 50-point victories. The closer we get to the end, the harder it will be but we were able to count on our audience, connected with the players. This public and this city deserve to know happiness and I am very happy to see them pushing behind the team like today because it makes the difference. We will also need them against Clermont before the possible final stages but we haven’t been there for five years so we have to have humility about that.
