A great cycling enthusiast and experienced cyclist, Paul Belmondo comes almost every year to take a detour on the Grande Boucle. Firstly because this race has fascinated him since childhood, but also because he has been an ambassador for fifteen years of “L’Étape du cœur”.

A few days ago in Bordeaux, the former racing driver therefore cycled in the service of the Mécénat Cardiac Surgery association in the company of several other personalities in order to support the cause of children with heart defects. To date, 358 toddlers have been operated on thanks to the mobilization of the association.

A few moments after covering the last 42 kilometers of the day’s stage, Paul Belmondo agreed to give us some of his time to answer our offbeat interview, via text message, on the Tour de France.
