Japanese international Keito Nakamura has signed a five-year contract with Stade de Reims from Austrian club Lask, the Champagne club announced on Thursday, without specifying the amount of the transaction. The Japanese winger, who scored 20 goals and provided eight assists last season, reinforces Reims, ambitious since the start of the summer transfer window, including the signing of Kenyan international Joseph Okumu.

Nakamura, who has two selections with the Japanese national team, will find with the Red and White his compatriot Junya Ito, a major player for the club, who also plays as a winger. Eleventh in the last Ligue 1 exercise under the leadership of the surprising Will Still, Reims is looking to strengthen itself after the departure of its striker Folarin Balogun.
