The latest releases of True Wireless devices that seek to conquer the user with their great audio quality and their cancellation of external sound.

Achieving excellent noise cancellation in True Wireless earphones (without headband) has become a clear goal of major technology companies. To demonstrate its great progress, the Chinese firm Oppo brought together a series of journalists a few days ago at the Tomavistas festival in Madrid to test the quality of this cancellation. To do this, they made a presentation of the headphones in the middle of the festival, with concerts and noise in the background, through a Teams video call with the journalists, all duly equipped with the new Oppo Enco X2.

In this original way, the Chinese company demonstrated the proper functioning of its new premium headphones that were put on sale precisely yesterday for 199 euros. The Oppo Enco X2 boasts of eliminating ambient noise, but they are also capable of processing voices separately to filter out unwanted ones. When it comes to a call, your bone conduction microphone will use an algorithm for noise reduction.

Also this week Sony has unveiled the new LinkBuds S. The Japanese company is committed to some extraordinarily small and light True Wireless, weighing approximately 4.8 grams, with comfort as its objective. In addition, they allow you to combine the ambient sound option, which allows you to interact with the world around you, with high-quality noise cancellation, to eliminate external sounds. The LinkBuds S will be available in white, black and ecru at the end of May for around 200 euros.

Another of the firms that has just presented its new headphones has been Google. The firm will market its Pixel Buds Pro for 219 euros, still without a date, and it is certainly a team that promises. The new Google in audio has active noise cancellation, ambient sound, up to 31 hours of audio playback thanks to its large battery and the company’s assistant installed, in addition to wireless charging. They will be sold in four colors: coral, lime green, black and grey.

Even more colorful than the Pixel Buds Pro are the new Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition, which went on sale 10 days ago. Xiaomi has inspired his headset in the role-playing video game Genshin Impact. From the moment they are turned on, users will hear familiar voice notifications from the iconic character, Klee. In addition to active noise cancellation, during calls, the headphones provide crisp and clear sound, even in noisy environments, thanks to the advanced artificial intelligence algorithm. They are sold for 70 euros.

Another great technology company that has been betting on headphones for not long and, obviously, on noise cancellation, is Amazon. Its range of Echo devices has had a new addition for a few weeks, the Echo Buds 2 (or second generation). Available in black and white for 119 euros, it is a great piece of equipment whose noise elimination is improved thanks to its sealed in-ear design. The Echo Buds work with the Alexa app and the e-commerce giant’s voice assistant, but they’re also compatible with iOS and Android and can be used with Siri and Google Assistant.
