The players of the France team will have to show their best face to obtain a ticket for Euro 2025 which will take place in Switzerland. The Blues, who are coming out of disappointment in the final of the League of Nations against Spain (2-0), fell into a very tough group alongside England, Sweden and Ireland.
England is ranked 4th in the FIFA rankings and Sweden, just behind, is in 5th place. Ireland is one notch below the other three nations in Group A, in 24th place.
The French team will absolutely have to finish in the first two of this group to qualify directly for the Euro. In case of failure with third place, it will be necessary to go through play-offs against the 8 best teams in League C.
