The EAG players’ match made the rounds on social networks but not necessarily for the right reasons. The game took place under extreme conditions with strong gusts of wind and lots of rain, which annoyed a technician responsible for filming the match. “Scandalous words”, deplores En Avant Guingamp.

Shocked by the comments made by the latter, the Guingamp club published a press release on these social networks this Monday early in the evening. The club is demanding several things, including the fact that “this technician is no longer assigned to En Avant matches”.

“These offensive remarks made against the club and the town of Guingamp led the EAG to send a letter to the French Football Federation,” indicates the Breton club which made two requests to the FFF. “1: En Avant has requested that this technician no longer be assigned to En Avant matches. 2: the club also expressed the wish that the technician no longer intervenes in D1 Arkema matches whose image he has tarnished by the rudeness of his interventions”, it is specified on X (ex-Twitter). And to insist: “The club and the mayor of Guingamp ask the production company and its technician to send them a letter of apology.”

The most important thing remains the final score of this meeting. With this important victory against Fleury (3-1), the Guingamp players achieved a great operation in their quest to maintain.
