The France team defeated Brazil (2-1) on Saturday in Brisbane for its second World Cup match.
Les Bleues started their meeting perfectly and were rewarded before the break. In the 44th minute, Sakina Karchaoui finds Kadidiatou Diani’s header from afar. The French striker handed over for Eugénie Le Sommer who finds the net with a splendid uncrossed header. Check out the goal in the video below.
After Debinha equalized for Brazil, Hervé Renard’s players experienced a few moments of panic before regaining the upper hand. On a corner from the right side shot at the far post in the 83rd, Wendie Renard, arriving launched, places a crossed header which leaves no chance for the Brazilian goalkeeper! The score will remain there.
