Sacred in the 100m on Monday, Sha’Carri Richardson started the 200m series on Wednesday. The American passed without problem her series to reach the semi-finals which will be played this Thursday at the beginning of the evening
In the heat of the Hungarian national athletics center, Richardson dominated his series in 22 sec 16, while braking widely in the last quarter of the race. Fourth in the 100m, the Ivorian Marie-José Ta Lou finished in her stride (22.26).
Jamaican 100m world runner-up Shericka Jackson also easily topped her heat (22.51). Her compatriot Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce does not line up on the half-lap.
