The heavy rains falling on the region forced the organizers to postpone until Sunday morning the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Prague, scheduled for Saturday. “The decision to cancel the matches on today’s program and to postpone them to Sunday was taken at 4:00 p.m. GMT (6:00 p.m. French),” the organizers announced. They plan to play those semi-finals on Sunday morning, and the final an hour and a half after they’re over.

But according to forecasts, the weather conditions should worsen on Sunday. If the smooth running of the matches is also disrupted on that day, the WTA regulations stipulate that they can if necessary take place until Monday.
