Under the pressure of massive protests in Lebanon head of government of Saad Hariri announced his resignation. He will submit with his entire government to the President’s resignation, said Hariri on Tuesday in a televised address.
In Lebanon, it has been around for almost two weeks, massive protests against the political leadership, which make the protesters for the desolate economic and social situation in the country.
Since the 17th century. October, the public life in Lebanon, has come largely to a standstill. On Tuesday, banks and schools remained closed on the tenth day in a row. The demonstrators are protesting against the poor economic situation and widespread corruption. (anf/sda)
