The lebanese president Michel Aoun asked the ministers of Defence and of the Interior to act quickly to ensure the safety in the center of Beirut, where for hours, in the area between Martyrs ‘ square and the Parliament building at the place de l’etoile, the anti-government protesters are clashing with the forces of law and order. The protests in Lebanon, started on the 17th of October, have intensified this week, against the backdrop of the delay in the formation of a new government, able to deal with the economic crisis that afflicts the Country.
