A march was organized from the La Central facilities to celebrate Bicycle Day. It attracted many participants, both as individuals and as families. Grupo Ciclista Azul, BTT La Loma, and Club BTT Atalaya organized it. They also collaborated with the City Council of Ubeda through the Sports area to promote this activity and raise awareness among citizens about the benefits of riding a bike. It is a more eco-friendly method of transport that they use every day.
A march was held to thank minor participants, and they were given a medal. Later, there was an adult march, but minors were also included, along with their mothers and fathers. “It’s a wonderful day to enjoy cycling together as a family, and that is what it was all about,” stated Pedro Jesus Lopez, the Councilor of Sports. Francisca Isabel Millan, the Councilor For Equality, was also present.
