UEFA fined RC Lens 30,000 euros on Wednesday for a series of incidents and damage during its large defeat (6-0) in the Champions League at Arsenal on November 29.

The French vice-champion also receives a suspended ban on selling tickets to his supporters for the next European away meeting, with a probationary period of two years.

The European disciplinary body accuses RC Lens of damage, throwing projectiles and the use of smoke bombs. The northern club will have to contact Arsenal “within 30 days” to resolve the damage caused by its supporters, i.e. “50 broken seats” at the Emirates stadium in London, explains UEFA in a press release.
