There is no basis to raise a criminal case against several officers from the Sydsjællands and Lolland-Falster Police in connection with illegal wiretaps in the case of Emilie Mengs disappearance.
that concludes The public Prosecutor in Copenhagen, after having examined the case, as The Independent Politiklagemyndighed (DUP) has investigated.
When the police in 2016 investigating the 17-year-old Emilie Mengs disappearance, intercepted a group of volunteers a man in Korsør.

And now the attorney general therefore found that there is no basis to raise the case against the officers. It irks Steen Djurtoft, who is a lawyer for the man who was illegally wiretapped.

– We do not think that it is a satisfactory decision, says Steen Djurtoft.
