the web Portal has removed a music video from the duo Man On Man, which consists of Roddy Bottum from Faith No More and keyboardspillerens girlfriend, Joey Holman.
On Twitter, writes Roddy Bottum, to the video for Man On Mans debut single, ‘Daddy’, is bortcensureret, because it supposedly has been assessed to be sexually offensive.
The infamous video can be seen at the Youtube competitor Vimeo, which Man On Man informs that the song is about ‘love, separation, fear and isolation’ under coronaepidemien.
In the five minute long clip poses Roddy Bottum and Joey Holman, in front of the camera in knickers. They also eat a banana, doing tai chi and groom each other’s hair – on the head.
For Rolling Stone, explains Roddy Bottum, why Man On Man chose to make up in undies:
– The gay and lesbian community is already amply represented by young, hairless and handsome men. It feels good to represent a part of our culture, which is so strident and well-groomed. Based on the age-discriminating and homophobic response, that was in the comments section of a straight media, who brought our photo, so I am glad to be one of the faces in the bøsselandskabet.
