“President Berlusconi often helps people in trouble, gave 10 thousand euros to the family of Giampaolo Tarantini, via Valter Lavitola, because he was in trouble”: the historical secretary of the former chairman of the Board (now member of Forza Italia) Silvio Berlusconi, Marinella Brambilla, came to Bari to lay in the process in which the former prime minister (now mep for Forza Italia) is allocated for induction to lie against Giampaolo Tarantini.
According to the prosecution, he would have paid the contractor in bari to avoid to tell the pm the truth about holidays with escorts at Palazzo Grazioli. “Lavitola was very insistent in this demand – reported – and the president was a little annoyed but I said the same to proceed. Usually they were his accountants to take care of the accounting issues, but on that occasion she told me to take the money from a box in which she kept the cash.
