From the first of December, everything changes for the telemarketing: taking a new and stronger protections for the consumer that they were waited already by 2017. The decree was approved today, after many postponements, the Council of ministers, though still in the preliminary stage. After the usual round of consultations (the parliament and the Council of State) will return to the Council for final approval.
The start date is already fixed in the standard: the first of December 2020, in fact. From that day on, we will be able to register any phone number (fixed and mobile) in the new Register of the opposition, free of charge via the web or on the phone. The registration will be prohibited, without if and without but, any phone call advertising to that number.
