Harelbeke Saturday, 78 Rita’s mass, attended the Sint-Ritakerk in Harelbeke. There was a celebration in honor of Saint Rita and the pastoral team had the original idea for hundred Rita’s together.
“one Hundred is just a number of course”, said pastor Bart Geryl for all Rita’s to for called in the wrong. “We are happy with every Rita that today our church is down.”
All the Rita’s together went on the photo in the front of the church and were given a candle as thanks for their presence. “The name of our beloved holy actually means ‘precious jewel’,” explains pastor Bart from. “Just like you, each in your environment is also a precious pearls.”
Reed, De Clercq and Rita Tavernier, both 69 years old and from Harelbeke, at the celebrations of the parish. “We are both active in the choir of the parish St. Jan in Kortrijk, but for this special celebration, we wanted the wrong here also attend. We find it to be a nice initiative of the parish to the church for a moment in the spotlight.” Also former mayor Rita Beyaert, signed present.
