According to the resolution calls for president Donald Trump to ”withdraw u.s. military forces from conflicts in, or concerning, Yemen” within 30 days.
Then the resolution has already passed the senate and goes now to the White house, where Trump is expected to veto the decision.
The four-year-long civil war in Yemen, where a saudiskledd coalition contrary to the Iranstödda Huthirebeller, has led to tens of thousands of deaths and given rise to what the UN calls the ”world’s most difficult humanitarian crisis”. The country stands on the brink of a famine.
