– In the years we have crossed fingers and held breath. But we have also used some new and stronger cranes down in Rotterdam. And the crane, which is found here in the city, is quite huge, he explains.

According to Peter Fangel Poulsen, there is a need for several months to the final work, since the bridge can not be taken into use before it is completely safe and ready for operation.
Some will certainly be more, that it can’t be that hard to build a bridge.
– There is just a part of the hydraulics in such a bridge, there must be adapted and tested properly before we open it up to all and sundry. It must be able to rotate and move, so it passes the time by.
As mentioned, the bridge is a gift from Realdania, but the final price is not made up.

Small Langebro
