It is not much more than a week ago, to the former concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland had to send a challenge out to a special group of guests.
Auschwitz was the ‘factory’, where the germans invented industrial mass murder, which during the Second world War cost the lives of more than a million people.
today is the transformed into a memorial site, and although you would think that the terrible history makes it obvious that one must behave respectfully, it is clearly not the case.
‘There are better places to practice her balance than the railroad tracks in Auschwitz’, said among other Auschwitz Memorial on Twitter.
When you come to @AuschwitzMuseum remember you are at the site where over 1 million people were killed. Respect their memory. There are better places to learn how to walk on a balance beam than the site which symbolizes the deportation of hundreds of thousands to their deaths. pic.twitter.com/TxJk9FgxWl
