Four people have been swept along on a Sunday morning in the Canton of Valais in the summit region of the Clochers d’arpette of an avalanche. Rescue workers were on the spot, informed the police Department of the Canton of Valais.
At the request of the news Agency Keystone-SDA a police spokesman could make no further information. The avalanche went down at about 2800 meters of altitude in the municipality of Bovernier, close to Martigny, and shortly before 10 o’clock.
