As a former detective and våldtäktsutredare in the Police, I feel physically ill after seeing the ”Mandate review” in the Swedish Television about the rape. This in itself was nothing new for me, but I’m still upset over how it works (or not works). The police can’t investigate the rape then the bouts take too much resources.

In Sweden, we are talking about the rule of law and personal integrity. What shall we say to all these rape victims who are not heard? It is outrageous that we don’t have the time to investigate serious criminal offences where jail time is included in the tariffs.

and sorry when I hear that the prosecutor does not even request hearings or provide to the alleged offender any suspicion on the grounds that the victim did not have a story.

If this is the case, you can always consult the people by way of information and call them for questioning. It transpires during this call data, which leads to the suspicion arises, the person concerned may be suspected.

We are many former police officers who searched us back to the profession of the reason that we want to help. Many have been slammed when the Police pulled a limit of ten years ‘ absence. The explanation is the take-off distance is too long for anyone who wants to return to the profession.

investigations of crimes, nothing has changed in 30 years. You complain about a lack of resources, while at the same time denying the former employees to come back.

Foremost, my sympathy to the rape victim who lost faith in the rule of law. At the same time, we send signals to the perpetrators that it is safe to commit this horrible crime, then there are no consequences follow.
