It is the largest Arctic Expedition of all time: In the autumn of scientists a year with a research vessel in the sea ice freeze – a total of 600 people. In Finland, the preparations are running.

Solely by the movement of the ice, the polar star should approach almost to the North pole, the TRANS-polar drift, as the researchers call it.
