Uses ultrasonic

Our first impression is also very positive. The reader is the best so far that I have tried. Usually you need to press quite hard on screen to get a reaction. But on the S10 you will be notified if you need to press harder, which there rarely is need. It opens spontaneously when you put your finger on the right area of the screen.

Galaxy Compact
As mentioned, Samsung has also a cheaper and more compact model called the Galaxy S10e in the range. No one knows what ‘e’ stands for – our proposal: the economy.
But it is mainly the price, which is saved in, because the S10e far along the road looks like the S10 very much.
the Model has a 5.8-inch screen and a little wider than its predecessor, the Galaxy S9. But it is more compact than Apple’s iPhone Xs, as it shares the screen size with.
And not least, S10e both lighter and narrower than both the S9 and Xs.
My impression, when I got the model in hand, was that it feels and looks smaller than the iPhone X (and Xs).

Fingerprints
There is no space for a reader to fingerprint in the screen. It is instead integrated into the power button on the side.
It works not bad, but is not a full solution, as that of S10+ and S10.
Perhaps the biggest irritation at the S10e – and it is to live with – to the eye-catching yellow color is not sold in Denmark.
