11. February was one day, as 18-year-old Mia Frandsen from Ebeltoft never going to forget.
Since October of 2017, she has worked in the Supermarket, where she sat in the cashier and worked in the bakery. A job that she loved.

– I was very happy with my work. I love to work with the customer service. I miss to talk, joke and smile to the customers. I felt a little, that I could make a difference for some of the customers.
– It is an overreaction. I should have gotten a warning or a firing. But a summary dismissal? It is the worst thing that one can get from a work. It would never have happened again, if I had gotten to know, says Mia.
At the moment, out Billion do not go out from his home. She is afraid that people judge her. Despite the nasty firing, she has received many messages from clients and people who she does not know.
– They think that it is sin for me, and that they will miss me. There are also many, who write, that they have tried similar.

– I will invite Mia to talk about her views on the matter. If there has been some misunderstanding, we must have it cleared up.
– in General we are not a business that terminates employees for platitudes. It is important for us that our employees are safe, and that there is a good unity.
– It is not in our current rules, that one must not buy into the Salling Group’s shops after a termination. It is a misconception, if Mia has got it to know.
– We have clear rules that the employee must not eat spoiled food from the store. Therefore, we need to take an educative talk with our employees, ” says Lars Rønnow.
on the question on whether Bn will get his job again, if it is the Supermarket, which has committed a mistake, says Rønnow:
– I can not comment on the situation in question, but we must find out the exact details, and what want Mia, tells the HR manager.
