Both Norway and Sweden play EM qualifiers against Spain and Romania, respectively, on 23 march. Sweden’s match at the Friends starts 18.00, Norway’s match in Valencia starts at 20.45. Norway’s football association has asked Spain if there was any opportunity to advance the match, but was rejected.
“It is understandable because it is common in Spain with the late matches,” says Nils Fisketjønn in Norway’s football federation.
He has previously said that he wishes the same avsparkstid for all the matches for it to be fair.
