Every craftsman knows that you are not allowed to go down on equipment. But equipment is not just about the tool. Of course, it is important that the hammer is well in hand, that the drill press can clear a little of each, and that the saw is both efficient and accurate.
But it is at least equally important to feel comfortable in his clothes, and that it has the right practical functions, which makes everyday life a little easier. Such sounds at least a message from a testpanel, which in recent weeks has tested arbejdsbukser from all five apparel manufacturers.
– I go very much up in how my arbejdsbukser sitting, when I have them on so many hours of the day. They should preferably not be too loose and flapping in the legs, but they must also not be so tight that they close for the blood to the legs, when sitting and working in an awkward situation, think Kasper Løvenholdt, who is self-employed cabinet maker and furniture designer at Amager in Copenhagen.
He has in recent weeks experienced big differences on the pants, which he has tested.
– Some of the pants are very loose, while others are far more tight-fitting. Several of the producers are also starting to use stretch materials that provides both a good fit and flexibility, when working. In general I am very positive surprised by the new types of arbejdsbukser, which is both comfortable and practical. However, I could well be nervous about how durable they are in the long term, ” says Kasper Løvenholdt.

One of his personal favorites in the test, but when he tried on all the pants, it was not his forhåndsfavorit, who ran with the victory.
– For the daily I go in Snickers, and I’m really happy, but I’m not so big fan of the model in this test. They were more tight-fitting pants with stretch a really positive experience, says Stefan Thøisen.

Arbejdsbukserne from the Angel of the lord is not a hit. They fit fine around the hips, but the legs are too baggy, so sailing around in them, and the fabric doesn’t feel super comfortable. The pockets are well-proportioned, folding rule pocket is sufficiently deep, there is a possibility to install kneepads, and small refleksdetaljer can help to increase the visibility in the workplace, in the dark months of the year.
But those few bright spots will not compensate for a basic boring design.

Blåkläder-the pants are very narrow in the trouser legs, but they are sitting fine, and the fabric is very comfortable. The movement is surprisingly large, but the pants are too narrow to use the kneepads for a long time.
It is nice that there is the option to unzip the sidelommerne real, but in addition, there are too many zippers with gummistropper. It is too gaudy, and it is, unfortunately, an annoying detail in an otherwise successful design with a good lommefordeling and a nice color.

It is a couple of really delicious pants with a nice fit. It works well with a lot of stretch, which makes them super comfortable even though they sit relatively close. Lommefordelingen is good, and it is a cool detail that can be zipped up on the inside of the thigh, so you can get a little fresh air, when it is hot.
It is not a pair of trousers, which is ideal for craftsmen, as is much on his knees, as there is a new one created. The design is not exactly ugly, but it is also not very smart.

Kansas delivers the absolute best-fitting trousers with plenty of stretch provides a fabulous fit with narrow pant legs, that sits nicely. The fabric is very comfortable, and there is good space in the pockets. It is a fine detail that the pants can be buttoned completely to the ankles, which is obvious, for example if you need to balance around on a roof.
Knæpuderne works fine in practice, although the pants may tighten a bit in the hamstrings, but in general is the functionality and comfort at the top. The only negative to say about the trousers is the design itself, which is not so smart.
