When ‘Mamma Mia!’ returns to Denmark in the year 2020, it is ten years ago Judy cramer’s idea to combine the ABBA’s timeless songs with an adventure about the love and friendship on a Greek island paradise premiered in the Tivoli.

To date, more than 60 million people have seen the musical, in a total of 50 productions in 16 different languages.

‘Mamma Mia!’ is one of only five musicals that have been running for more than ten years both on Broadway and in the West End, and is the first western musical ever to be performed in mandarin in the People’s republic of China.
