The expelled director of the BMG A/S, Jens Møller, is now equivalent, in a statement on why he svindlede with the company’s books of account.
on Monday 28. January, BMG A/S bankruptcy, which has forced Spar Nord Bank to revise downward their expected earnings with a loss of 45 million Danish kroner. Over 100 Danish farmers, there is a concern in addition to be affected by the bankruptcy.
Jens Møller, who was both director and co-owner of BMG, has allegedly tampered with both fictitious trades and invoices, which at first gave a summary dismissal and a police report. The former director, through his lawyer Peter Nisgaard Brink from Advokathuset Funch and Nielsen in the Dial issued a written statement in which he explains his motives for doing as he did.

‘I’m terribly sorry about the consequences that my actions have caused. BMG A/S was due to the market’s development ended up in a difficult situation. My intentions have only been that the company would survive, so the jobs and my kompagnons and my life’s work would be.
It has never been my intention that some had applied to the loss from this. At the present time I have not the opportunity to assess whether the figures disclosed in the media, consistent with the factual loss, as my actions may have caused to the SparNord and other creditors.
I have, through my lawyer approached the police and the curator, to be available with information that can bring clarity to what the real losses that might be occurred.
I’m terribly ashamed of having betrayed everyone’s trust, and the loss it will cause!’
The many affected farmers, who may suffer great economic loss because of BMG’s bankruptcy, can meet up to information sessions that are being organized by the curators of the bankrupt estate. They are both on Sealand and in Jutland.
