In Ghent last night, seven people from the same family are admitted to the hospital after a case of CO poisoning. “Six of them had to be treated in a compressiekamer”, reports the fire zone Centre, which re-calls to be vigilant.
The family became unwell in their house in the Molenstraat in the Ghent district of Wondelgem. Earlier this month died already two people in separate cases of CO poisoning in Ghent. On January 19, died of a 26-year-old woman, and on January 20, a 69-year-old woman.
