Shortly after 19: 30 PM at the operations center of protection & rescue under the emergency number 144, the message about a medical emergency of a small child in Bülach. In spite of immediately initiated rescue measures by the advanced paramedics, the boy died, the police announced.
According to the initial investigations by the cantonal police, and the Institute of forensic medicine IRM, a homicide cannot be excluded. The mother of the child was arrested.
The prosecution presented the request for a remand. The further investigations are guided by the Zurich cantonal police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor IV of the Canton of Zurich. (ij/SDA)
